Summary: This textbook and workbook entitled : A Glance of Philippine Literature in English" is intended for students taking up Philippine Literature in English. It focuses on the development of students' reading comprehension and thinking skills which they need in interpreting each literary type included in this book. The discussion on each literary piece begins with a vocabulary exercise followed by comprehension questions on the basic reading skills as well as the literary appreciation skills. Prepared exercises and enrichment exercises followed to supplement and challenge students varying reading ability levels.
