This book is a humble response to the need for instructional material for The Teaching Profession, a three- unit course of the new teacher education curriculum. It attempts to give the prospective professional teacher a comprehensive view of his/ her miltifarious task to enable him/her make an informed decision on whether or not he/she pursues teaching as a profession or give it up for a more lucrative one.
