Summary: In consequence of repeated references to the importance of qualities of experience in the field of teachers education, the committee on studies of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education decided in 1955 to sponsor a study of the topic and appointed President J. W. Jones of the Northwest Missouri State College and Professor G Max Wingo.
