Summary: Measurement and Evaluation is a required subject in all teacher education courses. We have tried to introduce this subject matter in this book in the simplest possible way in order to ensure that our would-be teachers will get the correct concepts and practices, in educational measurement and evaluation. The Philippine Association for Teacher Education requested us to write a book on the subject precisely because the association feels that this in one area that should be well-understood by all students of teacher education.
