This study is deemed important to mathematics teachers handling grade V level because they will be able to know the pupils' strengths and weaknesses in mathematics V. These teachers can plan ahead their lessons, the strategies, and the sequence of lessons from easy to difficult. Mathematics V teachers can also apply the method of asking questions called the Gradual Psychological Unfolding (GPU) in teaching mathematics lessons for a better understanding of students and thus making the teaching-learning process an enjoyable one.
