With the purpose of supporting higher education students in the design and elaboration of their research works, with emphasis on the one that will lead them to obtain a professional degree, we share the present work, which is framed in the line of research and gives guidelines to elaborate the thesis project; therefore, it addresses in a clear and simple way each and every one of the parts that must be included, which were selected and adapted to the language of our context. The text presents the outline of the thesis project, pointing out and explaining each and every one of its parts, including general data, description of the project or research pan, ethical aspects, project administration, bibliographical references and annexes.
