Why go into business? -- Part One. Business and its environment -- Part Two. Establishing a Business -- Part Three. Operating A Business -- Part Four. Managing A Business -- Part Five. Business and the Future.
The approach of this book has been prompted by three concerns. One is the belief that far too many college students do not appreciate the role and significance of business, whether privately or publicly owned, in making available the goods and services our society must have to exist and thrive. They sometimes do not understand that making our standard of living possible depends on what people working together in business can produce and earn. A second concern arises from our review of many leading "introduction to business" books.
