When Manila-based IT executive Jonas Tunay accepts an invitation to attend his 25th high school reunion in a small Visayan town, he has no inkling at all that his vacation will result in a life-transforming epiphany. His conscience pricked by anomalies observed at work, Jonas thinks he can de-stress during his stay in Araut. But after hearing the stories of the people in his life - his cousin Rafael, the arrogant town mayor; his stoic driver Miong and his OFW wife Dory: Jona's former classmates; and high-school student Maya - Jonas realizes he can't leave Manila's problems behind, and is forced to confront the realities that truly shape Philippine society.
