It has been observed that many Southeast Asian countries have become "NICS", new industrial countries through industrial development. However, these countries are facing with many important problems including, (1) water pollution with poisoning materials from industrial wastes, and (2) air pollution due to automobile and motor-cycle exhausts especially during traffic jams at rushing hours (such as Bangkok nowadays), and industrial smokes (such as Singapore).
