Summary: The study assessed various aspects of school-based management, including the application of basic school-based management concepts, exercise of power of autonomy, knowledge and skills development. Communication and networking, operation of the school advisory council and personal effectiveness of the school heads. Significance of the Study. The study examined the implementation of school based management system in school. It seeks to find out how decentralization has benefited the school by assigning two major responsibilities, namely, instructional and administrative management and by delegating more decision-making authority, to school head. Properly implemented the revised school-based management system may result to better performance of learners and teachers.
