A Course Module for Technology for Teaching and Learning 1 is a self-instructional module that explores basic knowledge, skills, and values in the use of technology for teaching and learning. It includes ICT policies and safety issues, media and technology in various content areas, learning theories and principles in the design and delivery of lessons, and administration of assessment tasks that utilize appropriate traditional and innovative technologies with social, ethical, and legal responsibility in the use of technology tools and resources. This module adheres to the constructivist and outcome-based approach to curriculum design. It utilizes a clear instructional design which aims to develop self-directed and self-empowered learners.
