Summary: The purpose of Revving Up Research Innovations for Social Development is to share and disseminate some knowledge that the De La Salle University Social Development Research Center—in particular its research fellows—has developed in the course of its research productivity through the years. This knowledge pertains to some methods and perspectives in research innovation for social development, a theme that was chosen for this volume because it is germane to the conduct of research, and thus strategic for promoting research productivity among Philippine universities. More importantly, locally-based conceptualizations of research methods—in the way that these are led by Filipino researchers—are what are more needed toward developing coherent frameworks for social development research, and thereby for social inclusion, in the Philippines.
