As recorded in The Mouse That Roared, this little country, three miles wide and five miles long, prevented a nuclear holocaust by declaring war on the United States. Later Peter Sellers was to star in a film re-creating those momentous times. And then the small Duchy saved the moon for mankind, as related in The Mouse on the Moon, when it reached there before the U.S. or the U.S.S.R. Once again it came to the rescue by taking and burning all the printed money in the United States, thus keeping the world’s economy from collapse. This is still another story unaccountably left out of the history books but portrayed in The Mouse on Wall Street.
