Summary: Ethics and Leadership is an anthology that addresses ethics, leadership, as well as some of the most important topics regarding leadership. The book is divided to three sections that reflect these three topics. The articles that are presented in this book are a collection of published articles or book chapters, as well as original manuscripts. This book is best utilized as a textbook for both undergraduate and graduate students. You will find both key terms and discussion questions at the end of each chapter. The available textbooks on ethics and leadership neglect to discuss some of the most important issues that leaders encounter in daily basis, such as issues faced by women of color, leadership in the age of technology, diversity and leadership, LGBTQ communities and leadership, ethical global leadership, just to name a few. Ethics and Leadership was created to fill this gap. Besides the topics in leadership, there are chapters that address both ethics in leadership and issues related to the relevance of ethics in leadership, as well as articles that address kinds of leadership styles. This book addresses ethics and leadership from the interdisciplinary perspectives, with contributions from diverse groups of scholars. The book aims to give future leaders the awareness, tools, and theories that they need to be more mindful of their world, and the challenges that their followers face, be they internal, external, consciously or unconsciously inflicted on them. It is the goal to become effective leaders, who create inclusive work environment for whom they lead. Studying ethics helps us in our everyday interactions. It is no surprise that studying of ethics helps us navigate our responsibilities where we are looked up as leaders, and mentors.
