Part I: Causes of envirinmental problems -- Part 2: Scientific background -- Part 3: Technology and control
This second edition, like the first, is intended for an introductory environmental course at the college or university level. We believe even more strongly now, than we did before, that all engineers and undergraduates in environmental studies need a course that deals quantitavely with environmental problems; their causes, the scientific background needed to understand them and the role of scientists and engineers in solving them.
