This guidebook is designed to assist supervising instructors in the laboratory school of teacher training institutions, particularly in training and guiding student teachers under their care. It is intended to serve not only these supervising instructors, but also the cooperating teachers of the Student Teaching Program of the School. This will provide them an index of their different functions as mentors of prospective teachers. This guidebook will also function as a sourcebook of the various supervisory and training activities for student teaching for both the new teacher training instructors and the more experienced ones.
