Simplified Fluid Mechanics aims to present the fundamental principles of fluid mechanics and their applications in a manner that is simple, less rigorous and particularly suited to meet the needs and knowledge of the student taking up the subject. The coverage of the subject matter is mostly devoted to hydraulics or water-related problems. Inclusion of, and brief discussion on, other liquids and on compressible fluids (gases) are only appropriate and practicable.
