520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | dBASE IV is a greatly enhanced and expanded version of Ashton-Tate's popular dBASE III+ package. It builds on the feature set of prior releases and provides a user interface that is oriented toward the objects you want to create, such as databases, reports, or labels.Although dBASE IV brings a new user interface and many new features, such as a template language, you will find that some tasks follow the same basic process that you used for earlier releases. Designing a new database is one example. Although a new field type for floating-point numeric entries has been added, the basic design screen is identical with the old one. |
