520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Human computer interaction is a multi-disciplinary field which employs the principles of computer science, media studies, and behavioral sciences. It is concerned with the design, execution and assessment of computer technology. It focuses on the interface between people and computers and is applied wherever there is a possibility of computer installation. The flow of information between a human and a computer is known as loop of interaction. It has several aspects attached to it such as visual based, audio based, input, output, etc. Some of the major areas of focus of human-computer interaction are design of new computer interfaces, implementation of interfaces, evaluation of interfaces and comparison of interfaces. |
